Supreme has recently been working with Hawkridge Distillers to develop a range of gin bottle brands and labels and Magpie Hill is the first in the series.
Its name comes from a place in South Shropshire where wild gorse flowers grow across the hill. The London Dry Gin is infused with these gorse flowers, hand picked on the hill, which gave us our visual lead for the bottle label illustration and design. The hill was also once home to a quarry which is represented by the pick axe motif on the packaging, printed in silver foil.
In Hawkridge’s own words “Magpie Hill London Dry Gin captures the essence of this stunning location, with an infusion of hand-picked wild gorse flowers and local honey from bees which forage on the hill. Citrus gives way to subtle floral notes of rose and lavender delicately rounded by the fragrant gorse.”
There are others to come in the range, so watch this space. And if you want to treat yourself to a bottle of Magpie Hill, head over the the Hawkridge Distillers website to find out more.
